At OnTrack College Consulting, our mission is simple: to guide families through the challenges of college admissions and special education with clarity, compassion, and expertise. We believe that with the right support, every student can discover their strengths, reach their goals, and prepare for a successful future. Founded in Maryland, OnTrack College Consulting was built on the principle that every student deserves to be on track. We provide personalized strategies for families navigating both the competitive college application process and the complexities of IEPs and 504 plans. From application essays to special education advocacy, we are committed to ensuring students have the tools and confidence they need to thrive. Behind OnTrack’s mission is Monique Hunter, M.Ed, an education professional with more than 25 years of experience in college advising, student recruitment, and special education leadership. Monique began her career as a Special Education teacher and coordinator in Washington, DC, and Charles County schools. Over nearly two decades, she developed and implemented Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), advocated for students with diverse learning needs, created transition plans for post-secondary success, and collaborated with families, schools, and agencies to ensure compliance and success. In 2017, she expanded her impact by becoming an Independent Educational Consultant, supporting families one-on-one and through consulting partnerships. She guides students in creating personalized academic plans, developing best-fit college lists, and navigating every step of the application process—from essays to career planning. Her work reflects a strong commitment to equity, access, and student success. At OnTrack College Consulting, families don’t just receive guidance—they gain a trusted partner dedicated to empowering students and helping them stay on the path to success. Because every student deserves to be on track.
